The only other distinguishable difference between the two I/O boxes other than cable colour is that the output box cable also sports an additional pass-through audio connector to allow simultaneous connection to your speakers, a line-out jack and a coaxial S/PDIF output. The new I/O boxes each feature four connectors on their front face, one for S-Video, one for composite video, and an audio left and right connector. The other two are used to feed signals to and from the newly designed I/O connector boxes. Of these four cables, one accepts a co-axial RF TV or cable input, and another takes the antenna for the FM radio tuner. In addition to the D-SUB and DVI connectors on the card's bracket, there's now an additional connector which takes a small metal I/O block sprouting four short fly-leads. Gaining little share against ATI's All-In-Wonder in this already rather small market seemingly wasn't worth the trouble for NVIDIA, but they've re-entered the discrete TV tuner market in recent times with the NVIDIA DualTV, competing directly against the ATI TV Wonder product line.ATI seems to have put some effort into solving the problems caused by having so many physical connections offered through such a limited amount of space.

It should also be noted that NVIDIA's direct competition to the ATI All-In-Wonder, the NVIDIA Personal Cinema, was introduced in the GeForce4 era on low-end boards, but was progressively discontinued after the FX5700-based version because of a lack of industry interest and adoption. As such, considering the AIW product line isn't exactly high-volume, and that its pending doom has been rumoured for a while, it seems unlikely (but not strictly impossible) that this is a direct effect of the ATI-AMD merger. No official explanation of this decision, if correct, has been given at this time, but it should be noted that the combined profit of a standard ATI Radeon and an ATI TV Wonder is most likely higher than that of a single equivalent All-In-Wonder board. Despite the earlier reports of ATI TV Wonder 650 recalls, it seems that ATI is actually going to focus more on its TV tuner lineup than ever before, and the first step in that direction is the reported cancellation of all future ATI Radeon All-In-Wonder cards, with production ending at the end of the month.
